Former Employee - Front End Developer

I worked at Adzuna full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

- Laid back atmosphere - Really nice people - Nice office and great perks (foosball, table tennis, coffee, team lunches, socials etc) - Modern front end technologies (React, Redux + ES6) - Loads... of autonomy - Training budget - Flexible working - Impact > hours

Cons

- Legacy code can make life difficult at times (although this is being addressed) - The dev team is mostly remote and this means that devs in the London office can feel a bit disconnected ( This is... mitigated by a strong slack culture. There is an interest to grow the London team too )

Advice to Management

Create more space for the tech team to address tech debt. An investment in this area will make feature development faster in future.

I have been working at Cloudinary full-time for more than a year

Pros

As a company it’s great all round amazing R&D and talent across the board, leaps ahead against the competitive landscape and everyone pulls together to make the customers successful.. Never in... my personal experience have I seen so many 10’s on NPS, testament to the customer success team.

Cons

No negatives just need to keep pushing along.

Advice to Management

Keep the open mindset with employees, a very unique position that many SaaS orgs disregard with growth.
