Current Employee - Joiner

I have been working at Allstate full-time for more than a year

Pros

Good progression within the company

Cons

Salary is lower than average

Current Employee - Resource Manager

I have been working at HUB International full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Large growing company with many opportunities to grow and move within the organization. Supports employee education. Solid benefits offerings.

Cons

Need to be proactive if you want to move ahead; some people remain in similar positions if they don't take the initiative to improve their education or skills - it's not handed to you.

Advice to Management

Continue to improve the health benefits offered to employees, as well as retirement benefits. Increased matched contributions, and more communication around retirement benefits available to... employees. A lot of people don't realize they are leaving money on the table if they don't take advantage of that benefit.
