I have been working at Anglian Water full-time for more than a year
Anglian Water is a great employer, they provide excellent benefits from a competitive salary to private health care. All the employees are lovely and very supportive which has been a great benefit.... The role is very varied and I have experienced a wide range of placements.
Nothing really comes to mind, there are a lot of great opportunities available but you have to put the effort in to be successful.
I have been working at PowerShop full-time for less than a year
Working here has been life changing not only for me but for many people that I speak with. The team is small so you feel like you really know everyone. Constructive criticism and feedback is... acted on when given; regular feedback opportunities and surveys with results communicated back. Regular development opportunities and new jobs becoming available. Clear channels of communication between everyone in the business. Customer Service, Operations, Managment and all other teams spend time together socially and in the work environment. Genuine care for colleagues. Very versitile - currently working from home due to COVID-19 pandemic and nothing has changed too much.
Still feels like a new company at times; some key foundations of the operational day to day are noticeably missing. Salary is basic for customer facing staff. Lower than industry averages.
Advice to Management
Keep up the communications and conversations with front line staff. Look at ways to effectively build more solid operational processes that don't change every few weeks.
