No real good reason. Good reasons would be if you wanted to gossip all day and smoke during your coffee pauses.
If you do not negotiate good salary from the beginning, you are stuck with that until the end of the days with that company. You never get a raise or you have to threaten to leave to get one. No... career progression. They promise you things by oral commitments but then come up with excuses to make them invalid. Make sure you have everything you discussed on paper, otherwise you will get scr*wed. When you express your discontent, they do not listen.
Advice to Management
Develop career progression program for employees. Change management - many employees demonstrated on TV 2013 because of discontent about a lot of things.
