I have been working at Avanade full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Avanade really does care about it's people - yes they care about making money and doing well as a business but of course they should! And when the business does well, we see more investment in people..., benefits, bonus, initiatives. There really is a drive to create actions from engagement surveys and it's become the norm to have committees of people (blended levels and roles) working to address some of the people issues.

Cons

It's a hardworking culture - Average is high performing, if you're looking for a laid back and lazy role then it's probably not for you - you get out what you put in.

Advice to Management

Communicate more face to face - address your audience. Give more opportunities to junior staff - they will always surprise you. Maintain the 'Avanade' feel rather than move to act like Accenture - we... are individual and that's why people love it.
