Featured Review

Current Employee - Customer Service Representative

I have been working at British Airways part-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Travel Flexibility Local Variety Sociable Made good lifetime friends

Cons

Shift work Long hours Car parking distance

Former Employee - Senior Customer Service Representative

I worked at The Emirates Group full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Constant training & development Fantastic work atmosphere Empathetic & approachable managers Reasonable targets Great perks Amazing staff selection, I made a lot of friends for life while... working there

Cons

Staff attitude differs tremendously between those in Dubai and those in the UK Can't fault the company in any other aspect

Advice to Management

Customers used to purposely call until they will speak with an agent in the UK, keeping the contact centre in Manchester would be greatly appreciated by customers. Moving the premises closer to town... or allowing home-working after the pandemic would benefit employes work-life balance.
