I worked at Anaqua full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
It is just another company...nothing great
Cons
Absolutely no growth prospects and this is after 7 years of service. There is no possibility to transfer to another department or role even if you are actually qualified. The Manager StraightJackets... you into one particular slot and doesn't let you grow. They just lock you in, for their own selfish ends.
Advice to Management
If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will end up spending its whole life thinking that it is stupid! You need to recognize and provide people opportunities to grow or even move... departments!!! You can't say - If and only if you perform, EXTREMELY Well in one particular role will you be considered for another Role in another department! That's a form of internal harassment! What if the person in question is actually better qualified for a role in another department ? The CEO and Management need to address on Priority - into this issue of StraightJacketing of an Employee into specific role and department in the European team. It is not about hiring talent..it is also about allowing them to do what they do best, and your mid-level managers , don't give a damn about it! If you don't really care - then Don't say " We welcome people with transferable skills " @ the time of hiring.
