Current Employee - Marketing Manager

I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time for more than a year

Pros

- A truly flexible working culture. You can work anywhere at anytime- but if they are flexible, you need to be flexible too - Great pay and career opportunities. Cisco always gives you (and... encourages) you to try new roles/ paths - Intelligent and passionate people with great vision from VPs/ Execs

Cons

Not a con but more of a side note- you get all the above cons but are expected to work hard and give it your all. Another thing I have noticed is there does seem to be a yearly 'restructuring'... where quite a few redundancies are made to remove bottom 10%. Then shortly after there will be a mass hiring of new talent (although this may be a positive to remove slackers and keep an energised workforce)

Former Employee - Recruitment Consultant

I worked at Experis full-time for more than a year

Pros

I started Experis as a trainee with no previous experience in the recruitment industry. My manager consistently supported and pushed me and I was trained on how to build up my own 360 desk. If you... are looking for a role within recruitment and are driven to be successful, I would highly recommend Experis!!! Some of the pros from my time at Experis are: Incredibly supportive management team who are always open to feedback Clear and structured career ladder Consistent coaching and advice Large social element Opportunities available within the wider group Great city centre location

Cons

Has it’s ups and downs but that’s what’s the recruitment industry is like.

Advice to Management

Continue with the individual development plans!! It’s good to know what your working towards.
