Current Employee - Associate

I have been working at Dorsey & Whitney full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Pro bono programs are wonderful with full-time staff supporting and fostering the opportunities

Cons

The firm is profit driven, however, it tends to pay less attention to associates’ and staff’s well-beings and life and work balance, especially during the pandemic.

Former Employee - Paralegal

I worked at Leonard, Street and Deinard full-time for less than a year

Pros

Competitive salary and most of the paralegals have abundant experience within the organization. Paralegals work as a team and have good camaraderie.

Cons

Managing partner hired me after a phone interview in which he primarily talked about himself. Once on the job, I realized that he began all projects last minute and every day was a fire drill to get... something into the mail on time.

Advice to Management

The office needs a regular operations manager other than the attorney partner with the biggest financial holding. Functions are disorganized and the workplace is absolutely demoralizing.
