What Employees Say
I have been working at Eton College full-time
Everyone is very friendly, and very open to new ideas or better ways of doing things
Quite confusing and archaic in terms of management structure - could be more forward thinking here!
I worked at Achieve Beyond part-time for more than a year
- If you love working with kids (ages 4 and up), this is for you! - I negotiated my hourly pay during the interview - Bi-weekly payroll has been done on time (you receive an invoice via email with... your overall hours, driving reimbursement, and total amount paid to you) - Email system is constantly utilized and admin staff is very responsive (expect to use your email DAILY for all communication) - Updated to digital data collecting system (finally paperless, super easy to learn, and paid training) - Lots of social events for both clients and therapists alike to keep you engaged - Paid mandatory training AFTER I was hired (usually around 1-2 hours long)
- 40 hour mandatory introductory training to ABA wasn't compensated when I started - Requires you to drive to each case (not for those who don't like driving) - Driving reimbursement only when... driving from case-to-case (this was a problem for me being part-time since I didn't have back-to-back cases) - Benefits (401k, vision/dental, health insurance) are only activated when you are full-time - Location really matters because I wasn't able to get many cases in my preferred areas (I couldn't hit full-time because new cases were few and far in between) - For some reason, BCBAs had a high turnover rate (especially for my cases) so I had around 3 BCBAs within a 5 month period
