I have been working at Search Laboratory full-time for more than a year
. The people are great, I work with people from so many different spectrums and yet somehow it all fits together. From Leeds to Austin it's just great, supportive & intelligent people through and... through. . I don't know how they've done it, but search labs culture is the absolute best. If you're passionate and inovative there are multiple ways the company rewards you. (Promotions, payrises & gifts) .Never met anyone with an ounce of prejudice to race/gender/nationality in the year and a half i've been here. Which is incredibly important for me. .The company supports every single person that wants to learn & grow. Since starting i've been promoted & recieved a very generous pay rise.
Communication between departments could use a bit of work. The internal timekeeping system is outdated and a bit of a chore to use.
Advice to Management
Please don't try and force people back into the office if they can do their job from home. You will lose a lot of technical talent to companies that are embracing remote work. Within SEO please... embrace selling some itemised services as projects as opposed to hourly rates. We have a lot of automation innovation within the company that we should be taking advantage of from a profitability perspective.
