Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Formica full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Drive and pace of change, challenging

Cons

none that I can think of

Current Employee - Parts

I have been working at JD Garage Equipment full-time for less than a year

Pros

All of the staff and Management at JD Garage Equipment have been very welcoming and supportive since the day I started. They see that each employee is an individual person, with their own life... difficulties, and are very understanding and supportive. The salaries are good, the work/life balance is good, with plenty flexibility if and when needed and overtime is usually always available to those who want it. The knowledge within the business is outstanding. Staff care for the work they're doing, and all appear to be very passionate about the business progressing, and keeping customers happy. There's usually a happy atmosphere around the office, especially on a Friday afternoon, when the engineers arrive back after their week away, and occasionally the beer caddy makes an appearance.

Cons

Nothing springs immediately to mind. The workload can be busy. The car park could be bigger.

Advice to Management

The management at JD are open and approachable, and listen and respond to any ideas put forward. There nothing I could advise, only morale would be improved if you could bring the beer caddy out more... often.
