I worked at Heartbeat for more than a year

Pros

Their culture isn’t one of partying and drinking but one of inclusion and caring. The managers actually care about your growth personally and professional and demonstrate it through professional... training sessions, educational sessions that relate to current social events and provide an open space to talk and learn. Although I was a freelancer there isn’t anything I could say bad about this place!

Cons

Depending on which team you are assigned to the Methods of training and on boarding to the brand differ. Some better than others.

Pros

The team are super friendly and everyone is engaging and approachable. Anyone can ask anyone else a question no matter how trivial that might be. Team socials and virtual company meetings have been... well thought out and encourage everyone's participation. Although everyone is remote, the culture and transparency shines through and makes everyone feel part of the business. Great on the job training and support from my peers. The Power of One and the inclusivity of the organisation is incredible!

Cons

It is tough joining a new company without meeting anyone in person to build relationships. More video calls with the team to have more personal engagement. It is great to put a lovely face to the... voice

Advice to Management

It has been strange joining remotely but the culture and personalities in the team have helped me settle in very easily to feel part of the team from day one. Workplace flexibility is here to stay... but our connectivity and culture of mentoring and helping each other really helps us feel united. I look forward to meeting everyone in person and continuing to build on my relationships moving forward.
