Featured Review

Former Employee - Project Manager

I worked at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Vacation, flex time, teammates are passionate and driven.

Cons

Professional growth is lacking. Leadership is out of touch with HOW things get done. Willing to sacrifice quality for speed. Outsourcing much writing and core work so save a dime.

Advice to Management

Listen to teams in planning phases so we approach projects with a sense of reality

Former Intern - Commercial Models and Pricing

I worked at Wiley for less than a year

Pros

Relaxed approach to a work life balance Very short hours (35-40 a week). Friendly office environment Recreation days

Cons

Wiley's Business Intelligence was very slow, my manager sometimes had to wait until the Americans went home before using it.

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work!
