Featured Review

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at INEOS full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Excellent training provided in the form of variety in process industry equipment. Got to experience full operating and shutdown regimes on a host of static and rotating equipment. Had great support... and guidance especially my mentor at the time.

Cons

Limited scope in solving complex issues on-site. It became routing sending out requests to contractors to solve technical matters on processing equipment rather than developing the technical... knowledge in-house and developing those engineers who wanted to progress down the technical route. More of the focus was spent on the upkeep of the plant rather than training the engineers on preventative schemes and technical in-house solutions.

Former Intern - Characterization Engineer

I worked at Johnson Matthey for less than a year

Pros

Team work Doing something useful at work experience Allowed freedom to utilise expensive lab equipment Learnt a lot about how they do what they do

Cons

I wasn't there long enough
