I have been working at Lionbridge part-time
Pros
Tasks are simple, working hours are flexible
Cons
No physical location and no contact with other employees
I have been working at Appen full-time for less than a year
Pros
I have been working at Appen for over 6 months full-time and the biggest asset the company has is the people. I have been impressed by how professional, knowledgeable and personable every one is; it... was particularly important to me to get proper support and training when I first started working at Appen and that is exactly what I got. Appen equips you with the tools to succeed in your role and the peers are just one of the most wonderful people you will every get to work with.
Cons
Working hours are very fluid. Since we work with clients across the entire globe, I have found myself working late in the evenings or very early in the mornings. This is compensated by the fact that... otherwise there is a lot of flexibility regarding how you want to distribute your working hours during the day, which makes it much easier to run small errands etc. when needed.
Advice to Management
