"Great Intern Experience at Merck"19 Jan 2019
I worked at Merck for less than a year
Pros
It's an internship available for both grad student and undergrad, and the mentors were very helpful. My mentor genuinely cared about my professional development and wanted me to know about the... resources (such as talks, lectures, workshops, and also networking) in the company.
Cons
The past summer had the first intern meeting across all sites in America, which I think can be organized better. But otherwise within my site it was a wonderful experience.
I have been working at AstraZeneca full-time for more than a year
Pros
It is a great learning environment and the people are lovely.
Cons
You have to be proactive to get the most out of it.
