Featured Review

Current Employee - Investments

I have been working at MetLife full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Good work life balance. Quite stable. Stong ambition to grow Investments business which means lots of career and learning opportunities. Strong corporate focus on innovation these days. Dynamic new... CEO running the company.

Cons

Huge Insurance company, so some things can invariably be a bit slower than they would be in a smaller company.

Advice to Management

Continue to focus on innovation and harnessing the latest technology. This will help you attract and retain great talent.

Current Employee - Senior Ability Analyst, Group Benefits

I have been working at The Hartford full-time

Pros

Great benefits which have further improved from 2019 to 2020, flex time, remote worker opportunities, impressive 401K match, tuition reimbursement, adoption benefits, and beginning in 2020, student... loan payment assistance and much more. Huge emphasis on employee development with many opportunities to advance. Senior management is very engaged with employees on all levels.

Cons

No downside, especially compared to other corporate experiences in the field. There is always room to improve, and the Hartford proves their commitment to do so is priority, evidenced by their low... turnover rate and recognition for several years as a top ethical employer.
