Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time

Pros

Excellent commission payout if you achieve targets. Good office environment. Sales training was very in depth and constant.

Cons

The market is tough & competitive.

Current Contractor - Recruiting and Presentation Skills Consultant

I have been working at Business Across Cultures for more than 5 years

Pros

Great, incredibly supportive management at this Tokyo firm that provides human resources consulting, career coaching, and recruiting services. They were always extremely understanding and supportive... to employees making a life in japan and even did everything in their power to help me find other opportunities when the circumstances of my life caused me to consider changing jobs.

Cons

It is very difficult for me to think about any negatives of working with B.A.C although I suppose that working at a larger company may provide more internal opportunities for career advancement.
