I worked at Newton Europe full-time for less than a year
I was offered a full time position at Newton as an operational consultant for when I graduate university in 2021. Newton subsequently offered me the opportunity to join their Head Office Brand... team for 3 months as a brand ambassador. This was during the summer between the penultimate and final year of my course. The role allowed me to meet members of the company before I start full time, learn more about Newton and experience their review days. I feel more confident to start as a graduate next year now, and I know the role will be a great fit for me! I felt my opinions were always listened to in the team I worked in, and the team was very collaborative and social, even though working from home. I was particularly impressed by the graduate and experience hire recruitment teams at Newton. They are all incredibly passionate about diversity and accessibility in their recruitment process. I believe Newton has grasped the value that diversity brings to a company, and internally they have lots of space for discussion, support and growth. The company were running lots of activities on inclusivity whilst I was there. Not only were the sessions themselves great, but Newton really cares about employee engagement and getting everyone in the company involved. As a women in STEM, I have often felt like a minority in previous engineering roles - but having spent several months working for Newton, I don't feel that this will be an issue when I start as a consultant.
Newton are doing a lot to make working from home where they have to possible, both in terms of work stream and from a social side. However working from home does naturally lack some aspects of the... social interactions you would experience in a team or office. I hope when I start at Newton full time, national restrictions will have eased and I can interact with more people in person.

Great management and friendly, casual team environment. Great leadership right from the top down, from CEO level to team leader level. Lots of chance to progress and learn new things. Very social and... colleagues have been lifelong friends of mine :)
