Personal Development Energy Growth Impact Teamwork No limit on the number of promotions - so no internal competition for places Fun No weekend working (really) Impressive clients Share... options for senior team A great place to learn A career accelerator
All consuming - flat out from 5:30am on a Monday until 6pm on a Friday every week. This could obviously be seen as a strength too! A strong culture for people with previous experience to join - it... definitely can and has worked, but it takes time (years) and commitment to see it through Diversity - although there’s been a recent recognition of this and is beginning to change
I have been working at IHS Markit full-time for more than 3 years
This review is specific to the Markit Digital business line in Boulder. Markit Digital has grown from a little business to a part of a multinational corporation. With this transition has come... some growing pains, and also some great benefits. Markit has been known as a wonderful place to start a career, and to grow your professional skillsets. There is a great degree of flexibility in how you can shape your career. Because it is a larger company now, there are several roles, and internal initiatives to give yourself an opportunity to flex new muscles or hone in on the ones you already feel strong with. The charitable initiatives, from giving to service, are absolutely a perk. Markit Digital emphasizes generosity, kindness and compassion within its walls and that extends to the greater community. Being in Boulder is also a huge plus. Not only is the backdrop of Long's Peak a beautiful reminder of where you're located, but the people are genuinely kind and caring.
Markit Digital is a great place to grow, and unfortunately it can sometimes feel like a place that is temporary. There is a lot of proprietary software that can be a challenge to learn. Compensation... and benefits are at the lower end of "competitive".
