I worked at OCS Group full-time for less than a year
Salary ok, working conditions ok.
Having to work with a senior facilities manager in the Leeds area who had the attitude of a dinosaur. Severely outdated views of women in the workplace, condescending, arrogant, aggressive and not... willing to work alongside anyone else. Total nightmare to work with, blaming others whereby his own behaviour was appalling but was never questioned. He allows his team to swear at cleaning staff and was rude to visitors to the building. Was glad to leave.
Advice to Management
Don't automatically think the sun shines out of someone just because they have been employment for a long time with you. It is these sort of people who often need re-training. You are lucky that on... this occasion I left without making a formal complaint. You may not be as lucky next time and need to bring your senior manager attitudes in line with modern day behaviours. Keeping this man in your employment is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
