Pros

The recruitment is top notch and as a result you will get on well with everybody at the company, often leading to you feeling happy to come into work. The exposure to different leadership levels of... clients is in some cases excellent and the variety of projects QR has available means you will be across a range with some projects truly excellent and giving you a chance to progress as you wish in your role and your career. QRs push towards the technical side of Consulting and Software development is creating very interesting roles for current project analysts to step into should they wish. Development is highly encouraged here and as a result of that, many people move very quickly up the promotional ladder. Nothing is guaranteed but if you are smart and driven you will find QR an excellent fit and if you see yourself as average then the chances are that QR will find a way through thoughtful management of getting you to fulfil your potential.

Cons

Some projects are not as interesting as others. The nature of the space in the industry which QR occupy is that sometimes you may find yourself doing work you had not envisioned doing, there are... plenty of ways out of this though and you will not be in a role like this for long. The strong focus on personal development and opportunities to get involved in other internal roles mean that if you are willing to take control of your own destiny you can take important steps towards your personal goals on these projects while waiting for your dream project to come along.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! The personable approach works very well for me and the split of pastoral and project manager is a very good one.
