It is embarrassing that new campus hires understand technologies better than the CTO and start contributing more than him within a month or two of start. Tech department seems to be turning into a... mess.
Advice to Management
Need to move on and hire a capable leader who can be respected and who can add value. Don’t waste capital and time on a CTO who still cannot understand tech we use, let along guiding and providing... direction.
