Featured Review

Current Employee - Team Lead Customer Development

I have been working at Power Home Remodeling full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great training and support system/leadership. Fun team environment. Ability to earn a lot of cash and within the first few months. CEOs that are genuinely trying to do right by their employees and... company. Promotes growth from within. You work alongside driven, competitive, fun, and generally awesome people. Opportunities to give back to your local communities. Great benefits. You get to work outdoors and stay active during your work day.

Cons

In order to move into any role, you first must start as Customer Development (Appointment Setter), even if it is not within the field you plan on transitioning to (e.g. Install or Administrative).... Timelines for upward mobility can be more drawn out that initially communicated. You work outdoors in all seasons and walk most of your day.

Advice to Management

Share more about the processes and next steps for all roles in the company. Have more concrete timelines and performance marks when communicating expectations for promotions. It would be great to... have portable phone chargers.

Current Employee - Business Analyst

I have been working at Vivint Solar full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

There are a lot of interesting projects for business analysts. People are nice. Unlimited PTO. Great work life balance.

Cons

There's no growth opportunities. Low compensation.

Advice to Management

Would love to see the company invest in employees by having Continuing education and tuition reimbursement and clearly defined path and more opportunities for promotion and internal career... advancement.
