Current Employee - Senior Manager

I have been working at Risk Management Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Smart colleagues, good work life balance , good salary compensation and benefits , flexi hours, supportive manager, world leader in cat modelling

Cons

High employee turnover , should try harder to keep talents. Engineers and scientists should be given better compensation, cut some senior management

Current Employee - Employee Relations Advisor

I have been working at Met Office part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Being engaged in work that makes a positive difference in people's lives, the Exeter HQ site is amazing, and the breadth of opportunities in a huge range of disciplines makes for a diverse way of... thinking.

Cons

Some legacy traces of old civil service ways of hierarchical thinking still remain .

Advice to Management

Consider whether all the different careers have clear progression opportunities.
