Featured Review

Former Employee - Fashion Advisor

I worked at River Island Clothing full-time for less than a year

Pros

Felt right at home on the first day. Friendly, funny and caring team members. There's always something new each day and good working hours. Pay is a good starting point of £8.70( 21+) Double pay on... boxing day, 40% discount and allowance for uniform.

Cons

Can be stressful near Christmas, boxing day and new years.

Advice to Management

giving more training on tills and updating hours sheets more often. (outdated)

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Moda Operandi full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great town house, great location for office.

Cons

Incredibly stressful environment, lots of people coming and going rapidly, Moda seem to constantly have an ad up on LinkedIn looking for staff, big red warning sign, huge targets for the personal... shopping team in particular, very poor leadership. New CEO from Tesla, perhaps he will change the business model which is clearly not working.

Advice to Management

Find a management team that has emotional intelligence. Not one approach fits all.
