I have been working at Robert Walters full-time for more than 3 years

Bonus structure could be slightly more generous
I have been working at Paratus People full-time for less than a year
The addition of an internal in-house trainer is perhaps one of the best moves the company has made all year. Having access to an industry leader 3/4 days a week is priceless, you get desk coaching,... one-to-one coaching and group sessions too. The commission scheme is perhaps the best in Bristol, there is no threshold and it is uncapped and up to to 45% . There are genuinely people here who have less than 2 years experience and earning 90k. The holiday is fantastic, you are worked hard at Paratus and a lot is expected of you but getting 29 days a year holiday plus bank holidays gives you enough time off to recoup. The office is great, central location, we have our own pool table and are a real social bunch who like to regularly go out for drinks and food on a Friday. Good office atmosphere filled with people who are motivated and driven to succeed. Lots of opportunities to grow within the business, time spent in the business matters less than talent and real results. I was offered the chance to build and grow my own team within a year of working here and had all the required support to do so. Overall I had a really positive experience at Paratus within my year of working there, I left because I decided to pursue a career in a different industry but cannot thank Paratus enough for all that I have learnt from my colleagues and the Managing Director.
Not necessarily a con but it is important to know that Paratus are looking for a certain type of person, they want to breed excellence here and if you are not up for the challenge this may not be the... right place for you. The hours are long, you are expected to put in extra work when needed (after hours and weekends) but what you get in a return is a chance to dominate your market and make a lot of money from doing so. The skills you learn and the opportunities you get are next to none and if you are ready to really commit to a job a reap the benefits then this might be the place for you.
Advice to Management
