Featured Review

Current Employee - Senior Consultant

I have been working at Roland Berger full-time for more than a year

Pros

Great people, high level of responsibility at all levels, great brand, one of the best work-life balances in the consulting industry, not much travel required

Cons

High focus on due diligence work (but this is changing). Some projects can be demanding and make it difficult to plan social life in advance (but not worse than other consulting companies and there... is also some level of flexibility)

Advice to Management

Keep working on expanding into additional industries

Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

I worked at Kienbaum for less than a year

Pros

Nice colleagues in my room.

Cons

You have to wear a suite in the middle of summer. That's not for me. Also some of the consultants you work for there are not the most upright. They write you salty mails because one line in your... excel sheet you need to prepare is a bit off. But when talking to them in person they smile at you as if there is nothing. If you like very specific and repetitive tasks which require no intellect while wearing a suite, this might be something for you.
