I worked at SolarCity

Pros

Amazing people and culture Great leadership

Cons

Keep your values Retain your top talent

Current Employee - Field Sales Consultant

I have been working at Sunrun full-time for more than a year

Pros

New process for project and pipeline management, company car and expressed commitment to high integrity, unlimited earning potential once you get going. Solar is exploding and the momentum is... picking up!

Cons

glitchy software, inconsistent income aka solar coaster, training - solar academy is too short and does not walk through different deals closing steps much less sufficient training on Salesforce

Advice to Management

Stop moving the bonus threshold, give sales reps customizable reports on their pipeline in salesforce. Requests for reports take weeks if they are answered at all whereas setting up a few templates... for the individual rep level that are sort and filterable would be invaluable
