Current Employee - Acquisition Coordinator

I have been working at The Co-operative Bank full-time for less than a year

Pros

Refreshing to work within such a dedicated team and positive working environment. It is obvious from the outset that everyone feels valued for their work and opinions. Everyone is really passionate... about the Co Op Bank's values which is really nice to see. From day one I have been given great exposure to different areas of the business and I was surprised by the number of internal opportunities available to existing employees. The flexible working policy is fantastic. It means that I can work around my family without compromising on my work or time at home. Who says you can't have both!

Current Employee - Collections Advisor

I have been working at Santander full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great supportive management, great company rewards and discount. Company policies that really look after the staff.

Cons

Pay should be higher for the amount of investment, responsibility and for the amount of knowledge you need to gain and learn to do the job. The training is like 9 weeks, which is sufficient but it... just tells you how much you need to know to do the job. Definitely should be higher pay. You could easily find a contact sales role where a an average call lasts 10 minutes and get £300-400 more, with little training and little investment. This job is rewarding as you help to make a meaningful difference in people life’s, but should be rewarded better.
