Former Employee - Sales

I worked at The Home Depot part-time

Pros

good work life balance. good pay.

Cons

sometimes long hours and tiring work.

Former Employee - Sales Coworker

I worked at IKEA part-time for less than a year

Pros

Great People, family like structure, benefits, activities, community, still have friends from there and I left a few years ago

Cons

A lot of work compared to retail elsewhere but that can be expected given how huge the store is. It requires a lot of work, the customers are a lot more stressed in ikea than they would be in other... stores but you are trained for this kind of workplace if youre not used to it

Advice to Management

None. Management in my store were wonderful
