I worked at The Open University for less than a year
Pros
Great research atmosphere focused on collaboration and community. Everyone was incredibly friendly and it was a lovely place to do an internship.
Cons
I can't really think of any but if I was pressed to say something I would say that Milton Keynes, although a lovely place to live, is not extremely dynamic. However, London is only a half an hour... train ride away.
