I have been working at Thoughtworks full-time for more than 5 years
Smart kind people doing things on self organising teams Inclusion is at the heart of all the things they do Everyone really wants to make a difference with their work Equitable space is a thing -... making space for voices that are not often heard Creativity is allowed - you are encouraged to think widely in finding solutions - just doing it as it's always been done isn't a good argument Consensus decision making - the joke is true - the number of opinions in the room is the number of Thoughtworkers +1 at least! Flat/lack of hierarchy is fabulous! You get to set your path - if you are passionate about something and want to get more into it - there are opportunities and you are encouraged and supported You get to write your own job title - mine is "Harbinger of Change" even though Glassdoor and LinkedIn don't believe that could be a job title!
If you are frustrated by discussions around a decision - this is not the place for you - and everything is discussed! Flat/lack of hierarchy can be tricky to adjust to Work/Life balance can take... some adjustment - sometimes there's just more things to do/be involved in than sensible hours allow
Advice to Management
The culture of inclusion matters a lot - don't risk loosing it
