I have been working at Tripadvisor full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

People here have a real passion for the growth and success of the company. A fun, friendly start up atmosphere. Lots of perks. A company that really care about the values they stand for.

Cons

Sometimes a little process driven and US centric but understandably so.

Advice to Management

Keep up with transparency, you have some talented people on board.

I have been working at athenahealth

Pros

The culture is excellent, the people are very friendly, active, and outgoing The perks are similar to what you'd normally find in tech: bean bag chairs, beer fridges, massages, bringing your dog to... work, etc.

Cons

Doesn't have the same brand recognition as other big-name tech companies, pay isn't quite as competitive (but definitely still very high)
