Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at UDR full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great experience working with a small satellite team - real mentors that care about their employees and show it. Open communication between all departments - great admins that help get the job done... across the board.

Cons

Eb & flow of work can be unpredictable.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work!

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Cortland full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Core values and focus is centered around people- from the impressive decisions that are made on behalf of the residents to the individualistic approach towards associates' career paths. The company-... despite impressive growth- stays fresh, innovative and continously evolving. Most importantly, however, it still has a "family" feel. The culture remains strong, vibrant, fun and exciting.

Cons

Nothing that you wouldn't find in any large workplace. Every company is going to have its share of negativity, different leadership styles (some more effective than others), inconsistencies etc. But... I'll keep any of the "cons" around in order to enjoy all the pros.
