I have been working at Ultima Business Solutions full-time for more than 10 years


The consultancy division has the best reputation in the business, our consultants are amongst the best technically and professionally. We also have a company ethos to share knowledge, develop from... within and think of the best way to serve our customers. This is why I am so proud to be in this organisation and why we have a high percentage customer retention in an ever changing market.


We are sometimes conservative and can be slow to change however we have re-positioned over recent years to put AI and RPA at the centre of our vision. Also the Managed Services division could be... improved, but have been under invested and as I see it is very much tied to the future growth of our company

Advice to Management

In my humble opinion I would think increasing synergies between the projects that consultants deliver and bringing these opportunities with managed services is an obvious direction. I believe the... execution in this is key; we would need to change the way we all work together, the add-on managed services has got to be competitive to position for the sales force and the service must be with added value to the customer.

I have been working at Softcat full-time for less than a year


I felt supported throughout the recruitment process, and any enquires I had, prior to starting, were answered with speed and patience from the recruiters and the staff hiring me. Since starting I... have felt supported by the team, and emphasis has been placed that no question should feel embarrassing to ask! Taking initiative is encouraged and praised. The culture at Softcat has been accommodating, friendly and fun - I am excited to continue on my journey at Softcat and see what is in store!


The only con I have is being addressed as the creation of Non-Sale inductions & workshops is now being put in place!
