Featured Review

Current Employee - Postdoctoral Research Fellow

I have been working at University of Edinburgh full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Various courses and classes on offer.

Cons

Bureaucracy. Certain policies are dated and in need of an update.

Current Employee - Senior Systems Engineer

I have been working at Nutanix full-time for more than a year

Pros

If you have passion, talent and determination, this place is for you. It’s the hardest, yet most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Opportunities abound for personal growth and a corporate “can do”... attitude. Small enough to make a difference, large enough to have the funding needed to try new ideas. >5000 staff currently, and it’s a company full of like-minded individuals (similar values around fairness, transparency, respect and grit)

Cons

Nothing in life is perfect, but work here genuinely doesn’t feel like work, if there’s a problem - do something about it. Work/Life balance can be hard, but the onus is on the individual to manage... this

Advice to Management

Keep going, keep the culture as it is, we’ve got a precious thing here
