Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

I worked at Weber Shandwick

Pros

supportive and open-minded leaders. interesting work content

Cons

high pressure. People always work overtime

Advice to Management

more communication between bosses is needed.

Current Employee - Associate

I have been working at Powell Tate full-time for more than a year

Pros

great opportunity to get started in the field of communications, one of the more flexible agencies in D.C., great opportunity to build reporter connections nationally

Cons

Senior staff is fairly resistant to change, diversity was an issue, hard to move up the chain, often junior staff is given the responsibility of mid-level executives without any additional... compensation, accounts are much more public affairs focused than anything--so little room for creativity
