Former Employee - Customer Service

I worked at Wilko part-time for more than a year

Pros

Friendly staff Flexible Good pay

Cons

Harsh when they made long time supervisors redundant

Advice to Management

Keep it up

I worked at Kitchen Magic

Pros

Decent money when customers buy. flexible schedule.

Cons

So many to list. Company does not care about having you drive all over the place for leads using your gas and putting wear and tear on car. The leads you drive to may be awful, or want something... the company does not do (such as knocking down walls), but they don’t care. The benefits are insanely expensive.....most expensive I have ever seen or heard of anywhere. Company does quality work but is not price competitive, so it is a tough sell in one call close. Company also pays to be the top search result in kitchen remodeling so most times you are first quote a customer is getting . Company expects you to go to training and meetings for free.
