How are senior leaders perceived at 1E?
Pros
Relatively better paymaster as compare to others in Delhi region
Cons
This company is true example of what kind of company you should never join. It runs like a school not a company where you will be tracked hour by hour (especially while doing WFH). Extremely political environment. The good reviews are unreliable. Just take a look at the rating trends and location. Horrible culture and worst leadership in my experience. Before joining, they will tell you whatever you want to hear. Once you are in, you will see the dark side of it as you will be considered a slave. You will be expected to do as boss (read clueless) says. They hire and fire randomly to put blames of failures on others, especially if you can not do bootlicking or a smart person as you won't be liked by bootlickers.:) Indian management is spineless, unreliable, make false promises, have no clear vision or strategy. Even top management is not reliable at all.
Advice to Management
Just consider people as people not like some asset or slave you bought.
Horrible culture and worst leadership in my experience.

How are the career development opportunities at 1E?
Pros
Pros Good salary. Decent work life balance.
Cons
Very unprofessional - both Indian and Global management. Extremely whimsical management. Company is working on some archaic software IT tools which no longer have much relevance in the market. There is no career path. There are worse things here. In a few months of joining, things are not as they seem. Extremely political company for a company of its size.
Advice to Management
You are a bunch of tech consultants with no knowledge of how to run an organization. There is precious little focus on business knowledge and you haven't learnt anything over the last 15 years. You still call yourself a startup, and you know you are going nowhere. Don't destroy people's careers.
There is no career path.

Why do 1E employees quit?
Pros
Incredible culture and people Generous compensation, amenities, and severance packages Amazing technology and engineering staff - the platform is pretty incredible Great opportunities to move within the company if a certain role doesn't seem to be the right fit - that is if you're "in" with the right senior folks at the company - otherwise you're expendable
Cons
Poor leadership - lack of communication, high levels of narcissism and arrogance at the executive level No training - if you're looking for this, it's not there Sporadic change and cuts - messaging or product vision changes on a whim, so for sales/marketing/engineering it's difficult to keep up with There's no sense of communication when it comes to changes in the org structure or when massive lay offs will hit Not much room for learning and improvement, middle management is non-existent Management only focuses their time on the most tenured people driving the largest deals or products versus the younger folks who are still building up their portfolios and likely need more of the help Always behind the curve - when it comes to getting product or strategy in the right place, right time, 1E seems to fall short every time. New enhancements, product changes or partnerships to the platform are not communicated properly and often hurt opportunities with prospective customers
Advice to Management
Communicate with your staff more, give them a chance to express where they're at, where they might need help, and give them the opportunity to see certain deals or projects through before throwing the axe. Get a CEO who actually understands business, strategic growth, and venture capital/fund raising - not a technologist who has no business aptitude Place more emphasis on your middle level employees who are extremely happy there, but don't get the attention needed to ensure their success. This would prevent such heavy reliance on the senior employees to perform and spread the revenue capabilities. Put in "Coaching" Plans or some sort of notice of performance that gives an individual the opportunity to improve before they are potentially laid off - say one quarter to change things around
