Does Add People offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

Two free coffees and 2 10 minute breaks throughout the day of you can say it’s a Pro.

Cons

Management are more interested in themselves, very monotonous and repetitive..Will make you feel drained at the end of the day. Constant meetings to uplift your broken spirits..Soul destroying in an understatement. If you are 10 seconds late from lunch, believe me you will know about it. It’s like your a child and will get told off for minor petty things. Don’t take time off if possible even if members of family die as this is not allowed. BDMs that that been there longer ie 5years are brain washed to intimidate new staff.High staff turnover and always advertising for new employees due to this. This is definitely not a long term role for anyone. Undervalued!!!

Advice to Management

Look after the staff regardless of age or background.

How are the career development opportunities at Add People?

Pros

The culture is acceptable. Free coffee.

Cons

Employee churn rate is very high as there is a lot of office politics and favouritism present. Pay is poor and progression opportunities are limited. I would not say that Add People are an agency, they are more of a sales business - which is fine, but if you are creative and want an agency environment, avoid like the plague.

Advice to Management

cut down on the favouritism, you might retain people in the short term, but long term it is going to damage the companies rep.

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Add People?

Pros

A good place to learn some genuine marketing skills in the short-term.

Cons

Claim to be people centric which couldn't be further from the truth. They are entirely sales and churn focused with employee workload and stress always taking a backseat. HR will speak to you as though attempting to memorise a handbook instead of having a genuine and potentially helpful and fulfilling conversation. The pay for the workload/stress is below the industry average. I would recommend that if you do take a job there to move on after 6 to 12 months.

Advice to Management

Increase your retainer fees, reduce workload and stresses for your employees, hire people into HR who know what they are doing and are not picking it up as they go. Maybe then your employee retention will improve.
