What is health insurance like at Advanced Legal Systems?
Pros
Decent Pay Small Office Quiet working envrionment
Cons
Health Insurance costs are VERY high! My job description didn't match the actual job functions at all. UN-focused, judgemental "Leadership Team." Judgemental CEO
Advice to Management
Take the time to write a job description that ACTUALLY matches the job functions! The job description that was given to me and explained in the interview was way off. I was also told I would get a "knowledge transfer" which was actually VERY judgemental drills by the CEO. I never felt so humiliated in my life! Advanced Legal has a lot of potential, but needs to modify it's processes or it will continue to be a "revolving-door" of employees. I would also recommend that the CEO take some type of empathy training.

How are senior leaders perceived at Advanced Legal Systems?
Pros
The work is meaningful, and you can see the direct impact of your contributions. Senior leadership is sincerely well-intentioned, especially with benefits.
Cons
There is no work/life balance. Entry-level techs expected to spend more than half their time on the road at below-market pay. Billable utilization expectations are ridiculous, leaving no time for professional development or anything else. Every suggestion for improvement met with some variation of "we tried that once, and it failed" The cycle of broken agreements and promises is never-ending. No growth in 20+ years in business Shareholder benefit is meaningless even without the increase in value as your voice is ignored
Advice to Management
A broken promise is as good as a lie. You would be much more likely to experience the growth you've sought for years if you could get out of your own way. Hire AND trust those that know how to run and grow a business successfully. Actually try something different, instead of endlessly talking about it in circles.
Senior leadership is sincerely well
