How are the career development opportunities at Agincare?

Pros

I have worked for Agincare for nearly 3 years now . I have found that they are supportive , reliable and able to look at issues and problems in a constructive way. They believe in "good care" and this is one of the reasons I decided they would be a good employer for me , I also think high standards of care are important and with my knowledge and skills I am able to do my job to enacting standards and feel good about the work I do . I am supported well by the registered manager here and we are in contact with upper management who listen to our ideas and company improvements and despite their busy schedules will come to the branch to see us all . They have good career development opportunities and if you wish to advance you can.

Cons

What kind of career opportunities exist at Agincare?

Pros

-Never late with payments. -Better pay than average care homes, -Opportunity for advancement in company. - Some management and HR are understanding and cooperative.

Cons

-Big lack of communication with managment - No more than two weeks holiday at one time. -Overworked employees -Unorganised administration, they like to say that the employee is at the top of the pyramid, and that we are valuable, but that is just rubbish, actions talk louder than words. - Greedy "family owned, and run" corporation, run by people who don't care about work environment, and will do zero vetting in regards to whom they provide services for.

Advice to Management

Organise your CCs better, try to maintain the smooth running of your institutions, even if it means that you make a bit less money, you will win in the long run. Overworked employees last shorter, and replacement is hard, time and money consuming. STOP EXPANDING WHEN A LOT OF YOUR FACILITIES ARE IN DOWNFALL
