Pros

I really enjoyed my co-workers. There was a great diversity of people & I learned alot from my daily experience. I saw so many sorts of skills used & appreciated watching how great work was accomplished when a wide variety of teams worked together. I liked the work I did for the company & made great use of the documentation & directions on what was expected & how the work was to be done. I had a high regard for my supervisors, co-ordinators & the other leadership in the Quality Dept. I felt the upper managment group worked hard at communication, listening to suggestions & handling questions/complaints in large group meetings. Alot of change happened during my years there & I saw a willingness to continue improving the work environment. I didn't always agree/like decisions, but realized it was a complex business setting with alot of factors that weighed into all decisions. I will always be thankful for the opportunity to be a part of what I did there.

Cons

The biggest challenge to me was the shift time...I was thankful to be on 1st shift, but found the 4:45am shift start to be an exhausting schedule to follow. I was fine with 10 hour shifts/4 day work week, but I knew no one who truly got the rest they needed, as family life of any sort does not allow for a consistent 7pm bedtime. I found it exhausting & a real impact on my overall health to maintain the schedule longterm. There were many times I felt we lost great trainees/workers because they could not sustain the schedule the way it was designed. I probably would've stayed longer than my 5 years if the shift time had been structured differently to allow for a healthier sleep pattern. I totally understand this detail is one of those complex choices, but I personally found it was the hardest aspect of the job for me.

There was a great diversity of people & I learned alot from my daily experience.

Pros

Good benefits. Takes diversity, equality, and inclusion seriously.

Cons

Leadership feels disconnected, makes ill-informed decisions, doesn’t listen to employees. Overlapping team responsibilities make it difficult to make meaningful progress and enhancements. Gaslighting. Easy to get burnout here.

Takes diversity, equality, and inclusion seriously.
