How are senior leaders perceived at AstraZeneca?

Pros

Great benefits and decent pay

Cons

Company grew USSMM too quickly and started hiring poor quality CRAs. There are a lot of politics and managers playing favorites, you arent promoted unless you have a manager who lets you get the LT visibility needed. They promote the young visible brown nosers before the hard working CRAs with more field experience.

Advice to Management

Need to focus on hiring managers who are more diplomatic, more experienced, in order to have a leadership team that functions cohesively and not competitively playing favorites. Reward hard work and loyalty not just the ones who are most visible. Be careful of favorites and politics and stick to measurable metrics.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at AstraZeneca?

Pros

Great salary rate, amazing corporate culture, good bonuses. In Moscow it's located in Moscow city - fantastic location. The office is really comfortable. Vibrant atmosphere.

Cons

In Russia the communication department are the people with low corporate responsibility and ethic. I know, it's an irony, but, sadly, it's true. Also, forget about work-life balance. After 9 months in the toxic atmosphere in comms department I just left because felt it's a road to nowhere.
