Does Aviva offer relocation assistance?
Pros
Good benefits package, although salary lacking
Cons
Was not given adequate support during COVID with mental health issues. I was not able to leave home when lockdowns eased due to family illness so was very isolated heavily impacting my mental health. Was put on a performance improvement plan without any formal or informal warnings beforehand, and goals to pass the PIP were continually changed. Would not recommend if you need additional support. No career progression Would have forced 3 day working from office as "hybrid" and "flexible" working...
Advice to Management
Focus on career progression and train management to be more empathetic to individual situations related to mental health and home life. Allow employees to work from home on a mostly permanent basis. COVID proved that it can be done.

How is the office food at Aviva?
Pros
Free tea and coffee. Shifts given well in advance. City centre office.
Cons
Despite saying they 'care more,' the moment you start to suffer with mental health you get shunned. You can get given a warning whilst off sick with mental health. No chance of promotion unless you kiss the backside of the floor manager. Low wages. Have to work extra hours if you get stuck on a call and you never get the time back. They say there aren't targets but there are.
Advice to Management
Talk to your staff, don't just wait for them to come to you. Take time to understand someone. I've moved elsewhere and am flying now doing a similar job yet you just made me feel awful about myself and steered me towards the exit door.
Free tea and coffee.

Interesting projects; good Design and Research team; some research practices have been embedded into the way of working; and a strong focus on the accessibility of products/designs. There are also a lot of great benefits such as the pension scheme, maternity/paternity pay, rewards and recognition schemes, discounts on insurance and discounts on other products.
Cons
Innovation practices could be better - a lot of constraints get in the way of delivering good work.
