How was the interview at Calendly?

Pros

Most people at the company are very accessible, including the CEO. The interview process was very smooth and the team did a great job of keeping me updated every step of the way. It was clear everyone I met cared deeply about the product and it's users, which reflects the highly customer-centric values of the company. The onboarding was impressive and well planned. I appreciate the effort to arrange direct one-on-one meetings with different members from core functions of the company. It's a great quick way to get acquainted with how things work, and how different departments interface with customers every day. The head of design is very thoughtful in how best to be supportive during onboarding. So far seems to have a clear sense of how to lead and make decisions during times of uncertainty.

Cons

It pays to be proactive in meeting people and having a curiosity about what they do, especially at a time while everyone is remote during these tough times.

The interview process was very smooth and the team did a great job of keeping me updated every step of the way.
