How are senior leaders perceived at Calendly?

Pros

In a year where you think you've seen it all and then another world changing event happens, the last thing you need is work adding more stress on top of that and Calendly has made a point to not be that. I feel so lucky to be part of an organization that lives true to their values and when times get tough the company finds ways to even more so lift up their people. I've been very impressed with the communication from our leadership team this year with constant updates regarding our transition to a remote first company and the additional perks and benefits each team member has been given to ease that transition. I also feel like the company gets that everyone is affected differently and even if you are a single person living alone or a parent of many kids, you need support and it may look completely different on what that support entails. I really can't stress enough how grateful I am to be part of a company like this right now! Everyone I work with is incredibly intelligent and I learn something new every day. It's refreshing knowing that you can count on your coworkers to do their job and do it well, and in turn that drives me to do my best work. I also really love our product! It's rewarding to work for a company with a product that I understand and helps so many people, i'm talking millions, be able to do their job better.

Cons

There are so many opportunities that it can be frustrating and challenging knowing you have to sequence those things and can't do everything at once. It feels like some things move really fast while others take longer than I would expect. I think we have room to get better about including all stakeholders in conversations and cascading decisions and messages down more effectively to those who are impacted.

Advice to Management

Please continue with the transparency and communication regarding decisions that affect your people and keep listening.
