What is health insurance like at Capita?

Pros

Great company benefits (cheap travel insurance, medical insurance if you earn more than £40k, cinema discounts). Some lovely people work there.

Cons

The company is in financial difficulties, there is a huge £££ deficit, so the future of everyone is uncertain. Cash flow issues, if you are a freelancer, don't expect to get paid for at least 3 months after you submit an invoice. No opportunities for development, even essential courses and CPD are refused. No opportunities for promotion, annual pay rises are usually zero or 1%,. If you need to go away on business, expect to haggle over your expenses. Company policy is to outsource everything and anything, so if anyone leaves, they are not replaced. Complete disconnect between teams, they all work in silos. They are on their 3rd CEO within a year, so there are issues with leadership. Software is full of bugs, nothing works correctly, which for a software company is embarassing. Management keeps on asking to patch things up as opposed to investing in new products and new solutions. Technology is outdated and often feels embarassing when trying to sell it to new customers. They have kept afloat with some legacy NHS deals, but if they don't manager to renew these, they will be most definitely going down.

Does Capita offer housing assistance?

Pros

Housing prices in Lodz are affordable.

Cons

1. Before i even went on a flight to Poland they instruct me to book 12 meeting at the embassy without me having the right papers so i had to cancel 11 times and waste my time (got banned on the embassy website for making this). 2. the company don't care at all about the employees for 2 weeks no one ever ask me if i need anything and if i need help during the relocation. 3. In every big company in Israel there is relocation specialist/expert , is job is to take care the relocation process and take care/help the people who made the relocation. Capita just put that on HR and think by magic stuff will happen. 4. Peoples there like robots in the office, you say good morning they all look at you like alien, who is this weirdo that say good morning and why?! 5. Someone from RC office located in UK determine your breaks a week ahead which is awful thing to do (slave market) does he work with me? NO, does he know my needs? NO, if i dont want to eat at 12:00 he cares? NO. 6. Misleading information provided on purpose, the minimum wage in Israel is 5,300(no sense in working for less then that) , Capita told me my salary gonna be 6500 in the Hebrew line then they said the netto gonna be around 4,500, in Israel the brutto and netto almost the same so from salary of 6500 you get 6000, Lack of transparency and misleading information. 7. They told me most of the job is by emails, arrived there most of the jobs are by phone calls dealing with orders for rentalcars.com. 8. When you issue and need to deal with Rentalcars.com they answer arrogantly like they are better then you because they are hired directly by Rentalcars.com. 9. Lodz city is a very cold and depressing city during the winter, at 4PM already dark and always gray and cloudy (forget about sun). 10. They promise bonuses but when i asked on the floor no one knew what i am talking about and no one got this mystery bonuses so it was blunt lies. 11. Dear Israeli's read this review and watch out, they are not honest decent transparent company in the standards we are use to in Israel. 12. they promised Polish language courses that was also a lie if they have big groups they let 1 of the employees to teach you. Israeli's be careful before you go and work for Capita Poland Lodz

Advice to Management

Your company is really sick get professional advice...you cant let Rentalcars.com decide when people go to a breaks or anything else related to employees if they are looking for slaves send them somewhere else because Capita is the one suffering and taking the reputation damage.
